Ability to export specific fields from within an item/project
I would like to export specific fields within an item (or within several items if doing a batch export). For example, if I was exporting the University’s course catalogue project (a few hundred items within GatherContent, each representing a course taught at the University, and each with many, identical fields), I would like to be able to select, perhaps via a tick-box function, only the specific fields that I need to share with colleagues or the designers of our print prospectus. As shown below, perhaps I only need the Meta title, Overview, Body copy and other info, and Careers fields in the ‘Web copy’ tab. I would like to be able to export just this content, and not all of the other content in other fields: This would be particularly useful as the University uses GatherContent to host the copy for both our print and online course content, so ideally we would like to easily export just the copy needed for any given format. I would like to have options for how the export appears – for example, in Word format, Excel format, etc.
It would be great to be able to make a structural change to a template that is applied to all of the projects I have active at one time. With 15 projects, it is quite tedious to go in and make the same modification over and over. It would be great to have a universal edit option to save time.
Gather content in French
Hello, we work with Gather content in our company in France. It's grate !, but many people dont speak english at all. For example, they can't read notifiacations and emails from the app. Could you translate the app in french or the notifiacations ? Thanks !
Change the button from 'Comment' to 'Save comment'
many people don't read instructions that tell them they have to select 'comment' after they type their piece. They assume it's like Word and that the comment will save automatically. If the button said 'save comment', people would select that option.
Global Templates (Across Projects)
We should have the ability to use 'global templates' which can be applied across all projects. At the moment, we can import but the templates are specific to each project. It would be nice to be able to choose if you want to globally update them or change them in one specific project.
Assign people to workflow steps
For us, it would be much more helpful to assign people to steps in the workflow rather than content items. Pretty please!
Merge Table Cells
Have the ability to multiple table cells so that I can create header rows, and other similar types of information.
