Instead of only having notifications via email (which can get lost in a big project), it would be great to have a notifications tab (like Facebook/Instagram does for example) within GatherContent that shows everything we are mentioned in, subscribed to, assigned to, etc.
Add find/replace feature
It would be extremely helpful to have a find/replace feature in Gather Content. I recently encountered a situation where a client asked me to change the phrasing of a specific term in order to match their branding. This term must be replaced across an entire website's worth of content and without the find/replace option, it's going to take a really long time to hunt through the entire content project in order to make sure we find every instance of the phrase. If there were a find/replace functionality in Gather Content, this task would take me a matter of minutes to complete. Instead, it will likely take me hours. This feature would be a huge help and make Gather Content much more efficient.
Keep comments and content after changing the page template
When we change the template assigned to a page, the comments and content on that page will currently disappear. This is an issue as we need to keep a record of the client's comments. Would be great to be able to switch templates without losing comments and content please.
Duplicate whole folders with the content
I'd like to be able to duplicate whole folders with the content as a lot of our websites have template pages and it's easier to duplicate the layout and then fill it in.
Give us the ability to collapse folders in the left-hand content view
My project has 100s of pages, which makes it very hard to find content in the new layout. We need the ability to collapse the folders so we don't have to scroll through all the folders to find the ones way down the bottom or somewhere in between. Our clients are finding this new layout extremely frustrating, too.
Linking repeating fields
Currently we’re committed with moving forward with GatherContent for our team. The biggest priority is establishing a clear set up via project organization and building the proper components and templates based on our website’s component styles. This way the copywriting/content team can write to the available/required fields. One aspect we loved was the implementation of character counts. With this though we noticed a small limitation when adding repeating fields: when a component such as a drop down accordion is used copy for both the title and description are required. There is currently no way to link two repeating fields together.
Collapse Sub Folders for Easier View
Currently we have four main folders and many sub folders within each main folder for a project. When you open the project you see all the main folders and the sub folders and you do not have the ability to collapse the subfolders into the main folder. This is visually unappealing and takes a lot of time to scroll to the main folder needed. We should have the ability to collapse the folders manually so you visually only see the main folders.
