Feature requests

When drafting content it is often necessary to move things around on the page. At present if you cut and paste a block of text that contains a comment/comments you lose them. I suggest either making a 'drag' feature where you can rearrange content and keep any comments - or - adjust the cut/paste capability so comments are captured along with the text.

Currently I create a tab on EVERY content template that has a list of our tags and categories. Keeping this updated is a pain across all our templates. A built-in content tagging system would eliminate this. Ability to filter by these tags from the Content Hub would be helpful too.

Everytime I open a project, I want the items in that project sorted the same way. But GC does not save that setting. So I open an item, go back out, I have to sort again. I open an item, go back out, and need to sort again. It's infuriating. Can you all build a simple default that folks can choose to sort items alphabetically, by date, etc. and the menu within the project remember that setting?

Vote this up, people!!! We have been requesting this for a couple of years now. We should be able to have these two common Word features. Please!!

I understand the benefit of folders for some projects, but for website build/maintenance projects, I need to be able to nest items underneath each other so that I can create content for landing pages (can't create content for folders) and show stakeholders an accurate sitemap (creating items for landing pages so that I can add content to them results in the landing page appearing alongside its child pages on the content map view)

Ability to indent content, add classes to things like tables, created more complex html lists with the ability to choose the number style of nested list

It would be useful to be able to pull a report that quickly shows a senior leadership team the progress of a project. Often for website builds content comes at different times and generally there is a need to be able to chase those that are lagging behind and missing deadlines. An export in Excel that itemises all of the content in the project and lists by workflow status would be a useful report. You are already doing this work with your progress bars on the dashboard so i'm just suggesting an ability to export it in some sort of working document.

We should have the ability to use 'global templates' which can be applied across all projects. At the moment, we can import but the templates are specific to each project. It would be nice to be able to choose if you want to globally update them or change them in one specific project.
