Include task name and due date within emails for upcoming due items
It would be great if the emails I get notifying me that I have upcoming due items would include the actual name of the item/task. It's not user friendly to have to click on the email, then go through multiple pages on the site within various projects to figure out what's actually due and when.
Allow people to select and map to an existing template when importing from a spreadsheet
This would help our workflow so much more!
Identify the types of notifications you receive
The current email options are a restrictive: email notifications for every update to an assigned article or a recap once a week. This isn't ideal for our editorial usage. It would be great to identify the types of notifications you receive via email: e.x.: when mentioned, new comment added, workflow step advancement, due date updated, etc.
See where an item sits in the content tree on the item page
You should be able to see where a content item sits in the content tree when you open the item/are on the item page. At the moment when you're on the page and go to the content tree, it doesn't show you where the item sits. This could either be on the content tree, or breadcrumbs at the top of the page.
Assigning Individuals to Single Workflow Levels and Due Dates
When working in a large team with multiple workflow steps, I would love to assign people who are responsible for individual work flow steps so that they don't receive due date reminders for steps they are not responsible for.
Shareable Links: Remove Instructional Text
We plan to use the shareable link feature for our external client reviews. It would be ideal if the instructional copy associated with each text field component was removed so they only see the final product (written copy), and not the instructions/strategy that was provided to frontline resources (copywriters) on how the product is made.
Help more with workflow and people management
Working to a timeline with a large group of people is never easy, especially when there's a lot of content to be created. This new functionality will be all about making it really easy to manage your responsibilities within a project, as well as keeping tabs on the progress of a project as a whole. Really speeding things up for you and your team. The features we'll be working on will likely cover: a better content calendar, improvements to notifications, some changes to roles and permissions - and speeding up approvals with things like shareable links or the ability to assign people to specific workflow steps. Those are some of the things we're considering at the moment, but this is very much in the early discovery stages, so let us know what you would like to see.
It would be great to have a GatherContent app or make the whole app responsive

Hyperlinks in Instructional Text
When building out template, it would be good to allow active hyperlinks within the Text Field component's instructional text. This is allowed in the Guidelines Field component, just not the others.
Allow/disallow access to archive a project in roles
When setting up a role, there should be an option to allow/disallow the role access to archive a project. With large teams and many different kinds of admin roles, many of our users need access to all projects, but cannot be allowed to archive any old project.
