Adding to this. I want to import content that is often written in Google Docs across many different stakeholders directly into GC.
Since CSVs provide a structure that Word Docs do not have, my ideal process would function like this.
1). Build out the pages in GC with all relevant components. At this point, the stakeholders will have an outline of which components they will use, even if the content is not written yet.
2). Export page into Word Document (using that current functionality).
3).Use the exported Word Document as the template and have stakeholders add content directly to the word document.
4). Once Content is written, it is then Imported into Gather Content.
Ideally, we would have stakeholders write and edit the content within GC, we are trying to get them there but there are many challenges in doing so. So, while our current system is imperfect, this feature update would help get us in the right direction.

Being able to import a Word file directly into GC would save us HOURS of work. We currently have to copy and paste the contents, field by field, which is excruciatingly slow. Just as we can export contents as a Word file, importing contents from a Word file would be extremely helpful. Thank you.

One more to add to this. Our legacy cms extracts content as XML. It would be amazing if I could import xml directly in to GC. At the moment, I have to convert it to a spreadsheet, format it and then upload it.

Ability to import from word documents would be epic for our organisation.
