Parent Pages
Leah Horgan
Bring back the ability to have parent pages. Folders are not helpful for the way we build out sites. If there's a parent page and a child page, we need to be able to add content to the parent page (not just create a folder for it).

Yes! The folders make no sense for a web build project. We've been dealing with this system, but unhappily.

Yes, please bring back some kind of ability to view parent/child page relationship. This is a huge oversight in content hierarchy, not sure why it was ever taken away.
Carey Dempsey
This makes a lot of sense - current folder system does not work well for large scale website content

If you're building out a website, the folder system is a huge pain to maintain and reduces access to the pages at a glance like they could when they were nested previously. I understand that some clients find the folder system useful for their needs, but I doubt those clients are using Gather Content to manage website content then. I think there can be a case for having both options. When I go to set up a project it asks what I'm building out and I click on website build. I'd like to see this revert back to the nested view. Articles, Documentation, Emails, etc, sure, those should probably be organized by folders. When we build out 200 - 500+ page websites, the folders are slow to load and hard to navigate to the page we're looking for.

Kristen Brown: Yes! The current format is cumbersome.

Folders are useless, and an obstacle to creating a hierarchy that a page builder can follow. This is just another way the new system has added steps and made the process complicated and clunky. Simply put, we hate it.
Anna Henderson
Strongly agree - used to be able to quickly denote parent and child pages and drag and drop. Creating a new folder and then creating a page marked "parent page" is clunky and time consuming.

Yes, please! The folder structure is incredibly unintuitive for our team members creating projects, leading to lots of issues in the page hierarchy

Totally agree. Has anyone come up with a creative way to get around this in the meantime?
Rachel Bertsch
Caroline Miller: Our team creates a parent page within the root of that folder and notes that it is the parent through the name of the page. Clunky but okay workaround. I hope they bring this back as an option or be able to view and assign tags to pages. #parent

Yes, we need this feature back please.
