Search for terms across a whole project

It would be nice to be able to search for a word or a series of words across a whole project. For example, we recently decided to change the name of one of our products, and rather than clicking through each page to see if the old name is mentioned and needs to be updated, it would be nice to be able to search for that name across the whole project and either go to those pages or search and replace from the project dashboard.

Hi Robin Maylone - yup, I definitely shared the wrong link! Sorry about that. At least it wasn't something more embarrassing 🤦♀️- I've updated the link now, so let us know what you think. Thanks for saving me there!

Hi there,
It’s very exciting you’ve introduced this feature! However, the link below takes me to what looks like a user video who can’t figure out advanced search. Can you tell me how to access advanced search?
Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback here everyone 🥂
This is now possible as part of 'advanced search' - which allows you to search across your entire account for any word or phrase. It's available on all Pro Plan accounts and above.
This help article shows you how it works (just scroll down a bit): https://help.gathercontent.com/using-the-content-editor/search-for-items-in-gathercontent
Let us know what you think 🙂

Angus Edwardson: Hey, is there a way to search for keywords within a project? (Not items, actual words and phrases.) For example, sometimes a client wants to make a universal edit and it would be nice to be able to search for the phrase on all the website pages instead of searching for them manually. I've been having to export to Word to do this, but now your export separates into different pages which makes this more difficult. Thanks!

I'd also love to be able to do this across multiple projects.
