Collapse fields + jump to item

- It would be helpful to collapse a field on the page to lessen the load of scrolling since all the fields look alike.
- What if there were a table of contents on the lefthand margin with the titles of all the fields within the item so that we can easily jump to a desired field instead of scrolling?

Work is currently under way to implement navigating within an item, similar to a table of contents, but for fields! This will allow you to jump to fields quickly without having to scroll through large items, and will also allow you to share a link directly to a field so your team can contribute more efficiently.

Being able to collapse a field or jump to a particular section would be great! It would make it easier to find components and would save us a lot of time.

We use GC to facilitate web content development for whole pages, which can sometimes be long if you're working with complicated componentry. When building components 1:1 in GC, we've found that it makes the content tab for each page extremely long and difficult to navigate. Having the ability to collapse components, the way you can with guides today, would be extremely helpful for individual user navigation and go a long way toward improving overall adoption of our GC instance. Anything else to improve navigation (like a 'jump to' feature) would also be great.

I'd also like the idea of jumping to an item with a sidebar of contents. I think that would be easier and more consistent to implement than the field collapsing, which I imagine is likelier to become buggy or cause slower page loading time the more fields there are in an item.

Would LOVE a jump to section. I was just thinking about this.
