Support for Content Tagging
planned
Mike Mason
Currently I create a tab on EVERY content template that has a list of our tags and categories. Keeping this updated is a pain across all our templates. A built-in content tagging system would eliminate this.
Ability to filter by these tags from the Content Hub would be helpful too.

It would be fabulous if these were selections like tags in CMSs - rather than using radio buttons or checkboxes. Taxonomies can be cumbersome to parse and it would be great to be able to start typing and find the topic/tag that fits your content. (Default selection would also be ah-mazing!)

100% agree. We have case studies which apply to multiple different service categories. To tag each case study with the different categories would help enormously with organisation and efficiency.

It would be great to apply a general note to a group of items for organizations sake. We often have content sprints or batches, but create Gather projects within an IA. Having a searchable note or a filter indicating "BATCH 1" would be incredibly helpful.

Ability to Tag items, visually clear and filterable. This has a wide range of use cases and comes up often.
For blog / news content, items could be tagged by topic (allowing admins to ensure a good cadence of different topics). Items could be tagged by team, rather than assigning to individuals.
Important reason: It comes up regularly, is flexible and would solve many use cases, and occasionally costs us sales.

We use GC for social media posts, and desperately need tagging so we can easily group and find similar post types. Thank you.

We primarily use GatherContent for managing our blog content, and being able to tag items so that we can 'filter by tag' across all projects would be extremely valuable.
